NexPort Live provides a secure, real-time engagement and collaboration environment for learning, web conferencing, and e-meetings with all of the tolls and techniques routinely available in a face-to-face session. NexPort Live collapses the elements of distance and time in preparation, decision-making, and distribution of critical information and directives that drive performance.
NexPort Live is a 24/7/365 hosted service utilizing a session model to allocate and manage seat availability. A session (e.g., a briefing, live training class, or post-operation review) can be recorded and archived to the NexPort library, news, self-paced training, or other portal features for wider distribution. Such distribution does not encumber a NexPort Live session seat.
Key features include:
- Provides fully integrated, live audio and video virtual classrooms, web seminars, conferencing and e-meeting capabilities.
- Provides record and playback capabilities within the secure, encrypted NexPort environment.
- Provides for real-time importing or drag-and-drop of PowerPoint slides into a session
- Provides for marking up slides in sessions using pointers, highlighters, lines, shapes or text
- Provides for playback of recorded media in a live session
- Provides Yes/No polling; instant surveys; assessments; hand-raising; and public, private and moderated text chat
- Provides for full-screen, live application sharing with mark-up tools
- Provides custom web seminar evaluation and feedback forms
- Controls meeting activity using hand raising/lowering, microphone passing, and participant interaction using shared applications
- Enables meeting attendees anywhere to lead a session, and allows participants to co-present on-the-fly with full access to the meeting leader’s tools
- Provides non-verbal feedback options, including Yes/No, step out, raise hand and pacing
- Provides web-based scheduling, registration and enrollment
- Provides automated e-mail event notification, reminders and follow-ups with recording link
- Tracks performance with detailed reports of enrollment, attendance and assessment results
An initial minimum configuration of NexPort Live consists of 20 seats. Seats can be reassigned throughout the day allowing participation by more than 20 people. For example, up to 480 one-hour participant sessions could take place during a single day. On a one-hour participant basis, annual capacity could be up to 175,200 participant sessions. Additional capacity can be purchased in blocks of 2, 5, 10 or 20 seats.
