Walmart uses NexPort Campus, offers employees opportunity to earn high school diploma through Career Online High School
OKLAHOMA CITY – June 5, 2014 – Walmart has partnered with Career Online High School to provide a free online course to Walmart Stores, Inc, employees via the NexPort Campus learning management system. Upon successful completion of the first COHS course within NexPort Campus, employees 18 years of age or older will have the opportunity to request full access to the COHS program. OKLAHOMA CITY – June 5, 2014 – Miami native Leora Haimov received her high school diploma at just 16 years old. She has been awarded a scholarship to the Miami International University of Art and Design.
Haimov graduated from the SACS accredited institution Career Online High School. COHS transfers credit for course credit earned at other accredited institutions. The school is part of Smart Horizons Career Online Education, the world's first private online accredited school district, which launched the program in 2012 in partnership with Cengage Learning's ed2go, the country's largest provider of turnkey online training.
