Conditional Prerequisites in NexPort Campus 5.5.0

12/16/2015

One feature that we are very excited about in NexPort Campus 5.5.0 is the addition of Conditional Prerequisites for assignments. In previous versions NexPort has allowed curriculum developers to assign prerequisites to assignments. These prerequisites allowed the developer to control student progress by blocking an assignment until another assignment(s) was completed.

This feature has been a part of NexPort for several years. Prerequisites in current versions only allow a student to progress if the prerequisite assignments are both completed and passed. The new prerequisite system will allow developers to define under what condition the prerequisite is passed. Including Passed/Completed, Failed/Completed or In-Progress.

NexPort Campus 5.5.0 is expected to be released in Mid-January, 2016. Check out the video below for more details.
